2025 GUKPT Grand Final Returns to The Vic with £1M in Guarantees

The Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) is set to close out its 2025 season in spectacular fashion, as the Grand Final returns to its spiritual home at London’s legendary Grosvenor The Victoria Casino. Running from November 20 to December 2, this year’s finale promises more than £1 million in total guarantees, with the prestigious £2,000 GUKPT Grand Final Main Event leading the charge with a £500,000 guaranteed prize pool.

The return to The Vic marks the end of a one-year hiatus after the venue underwent a £15 million refurbishment. Last year’s Grand Final was relocated to Luton, where Ireland’s Niall Campbell topped a 367-player field to win £89,000, defeating Kully Sidhu heads-up for the title. The atmosphere this November is expected to be electric as the UK’s most anticipated poker festival makes its comeback to the heart of London.

A Stacked Schedule with Over £1 Million in Prizes

The action kicks off on November 20 with the £750 NLHE Midi Main, featuring a £150,000 guarantee and four starting flights. It’s joined by the £250 PLO 4/5/6 Card one-day event, setting the tone for a festival filled with high-stakes variety and deep-stack battles.

Other highlights include the £340 Mini Main with a £150,000 guarantee, the £1,100 PLO High Roller promising £50,000, and the £2,500 NLHE High Roller boasting a £100,000 guarantee. The £550 Grand Final Cup and £110 Online Closer round out the two-week poker spectacle, ensuring there’s action for players across all bankrolls.

The Crown Jewel: £2,000 GUKPT Grand Final Main Event

The £2,000 NLHE GUKPT Grand Final Main Event begins November 27, featuring multiple Day 1 flights before culminating in the final showdown on November 30. The champion will not only walk away with a six-figure payday but also etch their name into UK poker history alongside legends such as Mike Ellis, Paul Foltyn, Sam Grafton, and Charlie Carrel.

Benjamin Winsor remains the only two-time Grand Final champion, having claimed titles in 2015 and 2019. With an illustrious list of past winners, the 2025 edition offers another opportunity for a rising star or seasoned pro to secure one of the UK’s most coveted poker titles.

Building on a Legacy of Champions

Since its debut in 2007, the GUKPT Grand Final has been synonymous with prestige and performance. From Tony Cascarino’s fairytale victory in 2009 to Trung Moc’s £265,350 haul in 2021, the event has consistently delivered drama and unforgettable moments on the felt. As the tour wraps up another successful season, all eyes will be on The Vic to see who emerges as the next name etched into the GUKPT history books.

The cards are set to fly, the guarantees are massive, and London is ready for poker’s grandest stage.
