A brand-new high-stakes poker festival is set to debut at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas this September. Running from September 1–6, the PGT Bounty Blitz will feature six $5,300 buy-in events, each designed with a distinct bounty structure that promises a fresh twist on traditional knockout play.
In every event, $2,000 from each buy-in will be allocated to the bounty pool. Players who register before cards are in the air will also receive a $200 discount on their entry.
Variety of Bounty Formats
The series will open with a standard No-Limit Hold’em Knockout event. From there, players will encounter a mix of unique formats:
- Event #2 – Escalator: Bounties start at $500 during late registration, increase to $1,000 once registration closes, and then shift again near the final table when the remaining prize pool is divided by the number of players left.
- Event #3 – Quattro Bounty: Bounties jump to $8,000 once just 25% of the field remains.
- Event #4 – Progressive Knockout (PKO): Half the bounty is paid immediately, while the other half is added to the player’s own bounty.
- Event #5 – Mystery Bounty: One of the most popular formats in modern tournament poker, where players claim hidden bounty prizes after each elimination.
- Event #6 – Knockout: The series concludes with the same format as Event #1.
