APT Jeju Classic 2026 Kicks Off 20th Anniversary Season with 7 Seats to USD 5M GTD Finale

The Asian Poker Tour (APT), sponsored by Natural8, is set to return to South Korea to launch its milestone 20th year. The APT Jeju Classic 2026 runs from January 30 to February 8 at LES A Casino, located within the luxurious Jeju Shinhwa World resort, in partnership with Landing Entertainment Korea.

Coming off a record-setting 2025, the tour has announced an action-packed 99-event schedule (including satellites). The festival boasts total prize pool guarantees exceeding KRW 4.9 billion (~USD 3.4 million), headlined by a KRW 2.2 billion guaranteed Main Event.

In a major addition to the standard prize pools, the APT Jeju Classic 2026 will award seven coveted seats to the APT Championship (APTC) Main Event. This season-ending showpiece, scheduled for November 13–29, 2026, in Taipei, carries a massive USD 5 million guarantee.

The Race for the USD 10K Seats

There are seven APTC Main Event seats up for grabs during the Jeju festival, each valued at approximately USD 10,000.

Players can secure their spot in the Taipei finale through the KRW 2.3 million (~USD 1,600) buy-in APT Jeju Classic Main Event, where the Champion, 2nd place, and 3rd place finishers will all receive a seat.

Additionally, the winners of the following four major titles will each claim a seat:

  • APT Super High Roller Champion
  • APT High Roller Champion
  • Superstar Challenge Champion
  • Zodiac Classic Champion

High Stakes and Key Events

The festival’s high-stakes schedule is robust. The KRW 15M (~USD 10,300) APT Super High Roller and the KRW 5M (~USD 3,400) APT High Roller come with guarantees of KRW 500 million (~USD 345,000) and KRW 700 million (~USD 484,000) respectively. The Zodiac Classic – Sponsored by Natural8 also sports a KRW 500 million guarantee.

For the highest rollers, the Superstar Challenge returns on February 2-3 with a KRW 35 million (~USD 24,200) buy-in. A Baby Superstar event is scheduled for February 6 with a KRW 15 million buy-in.

Opening weekend highlights include the KRW 850K (~USD 590) APT National Cup and the KRW 1.1M (~USD 760) Mystery Bounty Hunter – Sponsored by Natural8.
