The PartyPoker Tour is back on UK soil to kick off its second season, bringing a week of tournaments to Genting Club Sheffield. Running from Jan. 27 through Feb. 1, the festival features a diverse schedule anchored by a £500 buy-in Main Event carrying a £100,000 guarantee.
Following a strong debut year in 2025, the tour continues its focus on accessible buy-ins and a wide mix of formats. Sheffield marks the first of four confirmed stops for the first half of 2026, ahead of subsequent festivals in Spain and Manchester.
Main Event and Schedule Highlights
The action begins Tuesday, Jan. 27, with the £150 Mini Main Event. Carrying a £40,000 guarantee, the Mini Main Event offers multiple Day 1 flights across the opening days before progressing through later stages of the tournament.
The spotlight shifts on Thursday, Jan. 29, with the start of the £500 Main Event. With a £100,000 guarantee, the tournament features four Day 1 flights, including standard, Turbo, and Hyper Turbo options, giving players flexibility throughout the week.
For players targeting these headline events on a budget, “Target Stack” satellites run daily, awarding seats into the Mini Main Event, Main Event, PLO Masters, and the High Roller.
Mixed Games and High Rollers
The Sheffield stop provides a broad selection of non-Hold’em formats. The £250 Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) Masters carries a £20,000 guarantee and features four starting flights beginning Jan. 30.
Other variants on the schedule include Big O, H.O.R.S.E., Double Board, and Crazy Pineapple. At the top end of the buy-in spectrum, a £1,000 High Roller 7-Max is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 1.
The “Tour Path” to Qualification
PartyPoker has allocated 2,000 live seats through its online qualification system. Known as the “PartyPoker Tour Path,” the five-stage satellite structure starts from a £0.20 buy-in.
The final stage awards a full PartyPoker Tour Package, which includes a £500 Main Event seat and £500 in expenses.
