The RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) Passport season is heading to Texas later this month for a six-day festival at The Lodge Card Club. Running from Jan. 27 through Feb. 1 in Round Rock, the series features seven ring events and is headlined by a $250,000 guaranteed Main Event.
Located in the greater Austin area, The Lodge is one of the largest poker rooms in Texas and is co-owned by Doug Polk, Andrew Neeme, and Brad Owen. The venue has become a regular stop for major tournament series as poker continues to grow across the state.
Main Event Details
The $600 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Main Event carries a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool and features five starting flights. Flight A begins Thursday, Jan. 29 at 4:15 p.m.
Additional flights run on Friday, Jan. 30, and Saturday, Jan. 31, with two starting times each day at 11:15 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. All remaining players will return on Sunday, Feb. 1, to play down to a champion.
Bounties and Mixed Games
The series opens on Tuesday, Jan. 27, with two $20,000 guaranteed ring events. The day begins with the $200 Seniors Ring Event for players aged 50 and over, followed by the $200 Ambassador Bounty Ring Event in the evening.
In the Ambassador event, special guests will hold envelopes containing prizes such as RGPS apparel store credit and $1,000 cash awards.
Wednesday’s schedule offers variety, including the $400 Deepstack Ring Event with a $20,000 guarantee and a $400 Pot-Limit Omaha Ring Event featuring a $30,000 guarantee. Big O players will also have a ring event on Thursday afternoon.
