China's Tianhao Zheng claimed the chip lead in Flight B of the APT Jeju Classic 2026 Main Event, stacking up 367,000 to pace the 118 survivors from a field of 317 entries. The surge pushed the tournament's total to 993 entries, leaving it just 87 short of hitting its KRW 2.2 billion guarantee, or about USD 1.5 million.
Held at Jeju Shinhwa World's LES A Casino in partnership with Landing Entertainment Korea, the KRW 2.3 million buy-in event, roughly USD 1,600, wrapped its fourth day of the series spanning Jan. 30 to Feb. 8. Zheng, who has two prior APT titles, now sits third overall among the 261 players advancing from Flights A and B combined.
Zhou Lu, also from China, secured second in Flight B with 265,200, followed by Vietnam's Trung Quan Nguyen at 258,000. Nguyen boasts wins in the APT Phu Quoc 2023 Super High Roller and APT Taipei 2025 High Roller.

High Roller Action Heats Up
High-stakes players had options with the two-day KRW 35 million Superstar Challenge, about USD 24,400, where Tony Ren Lin grabbed the Day 1 lead in his bid for consecutive titles. The KRW 4.5 million High Roller, Ultra Stack, roughly USD 3,100, set a new APT country record for the event type.
Day 4 also featured 11 trophy side events, two Natural8 promotions, and a Main Event satellite, keeping the venue buzzing.
Remaining Flights and Prize Pool Outlook
Flights C and D, each with six 30-minute levels followed by four 45-minute ones, kick off Tuesday, Feb. 3, at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. local time. Late registration remains open through Level 11 on Day 2, starting Wednesday, Feb. 4, at 11 a.m., leaving open the possibility for the prize pool to grow further beyond the guarantee.
