Running April 22-May 3, the Natural8-sponsored tour stop carries TWD 207M in guarantees and feeds directly into November's USD 5M season finale
The Asian Poker Tour is returning to Taiwan this spring. APT Taipei 2026, sponsored by Natural8, runs April 22 to May 3 and is offering 22 seats to the APT Championship 2026 Main Event, a USD 5 million guaranteed tournament scheduled for November 13-29 in Taipei.
The festival spans 172 events across two central Taipei venues: the Red Point Center's Red Space and the Asia Poker Arena, both operated in partnership with the Chinese Texas Hold'em Poker Club. Total prize pool guarantees exceed TWD 207 million (approximately USD 6.5 million). The series marks the tour's second Taiwan stop of 2026 and is part of the APT's 20th anniversary celebrations.
The Main Event Leads the Way
The APT Main Event runs April 26 through May 2 at a TWD 55,000 (approximately USD 1,700) buy-in and carries a TWD 70 million (approximately USD 2.2 million) guarantee. The top six finishers each earn a direct seat into the APT Championship 2026 (APTC) Main Event, with each seat valued at approximately USD 10,000.
Two additional APTC seats will be awarded by random draw during the Main Event itself: one on Day 4 and one when the field reaches the money. Every player still in contention at the time of each draw is eligible.
Nine More Events, Sixteen More Seats
The remaining 16 seats are spread across nine events on the schedule. Five events award two seats each to their top two finishers; four more award a single seat to the winner.
