GUKPT Returns to London in April With £250,000 Guaranteed Main Event

Gold GUKPT chip on green felt with playing cards, GUKPT London 2026 April Main Event £250,000 guaranteed

The Grosvenor UK Poker Tour is heading back to The Victoria in London from April 8-21, with a £1,250 buy-in Main Event carrying a £250,000 prize pool guarantee topping the bill.

The third leg of the 2026 season opens with a £115 satellite on the evening of April 8, followed by the first of five G500 Day 1 flights at noon on April 9. From there, the festival runs through April 19 across more than a dozen events, with a £110 Online Closer on Grosvenor Poker wrapping things up April 20-21.

Something for Every Stake

The schedule covers a wide range of formats and buy-ins. Alongside the £500 G500, players can take their shot at a £250 Pot-Limit Omaha, a £340 Mini Main with a £150,000 guarantee, a £1,100 PLO High Roller, and a £2,000 NLHE High Roller guaranteeing £100,000.

The Main Event runs across three starting flights beginning April 16, with Day 2 on April 18 and Day 3 on April 19. Players who miss the live action can still get in on the Online Closer, which carries a £20,000 guarantee at a £110 buy-in.

Sheils Has Two Titles on the Line

Brandon Sheils will arrive at The Victoria after a strong showing in January, winning two open events outright.

He topped a 72-entry £2,500 NLHE High Roller for £49,560, then late-registered the £1,250 Main Event, built a big stack, and ran through a 368-player field to take the title and £88,760. His combined two-event take came to more than £138,000.

The rest of January's champions were no less impressive. Anthony Desai outlasted 758 runners in the £340 Mini Main to collect £45,000, while James Mitchell bested a 513-entry field in the G500, banking £47,770 from a £219,311 prize pool.

Every event at the January stop beat its guarantee. The tour will be looking for more of the same when cards go in the air on April 9.
