WSOP Europe is leaving its longtime home and moving to Prague, with the 2026 festival running March 31 through April 12 at the Hilton Prague. The 15-event bracelet schedule marks one of the biggest venue shifts in the series' history.

King's Resort is overseeing operations at the new location, with the same management structure that built the festival's reputation in Rozvadov now handling the Prague edition. King's Resort CEO Federico Brunato has watched the series grow year after year at the Czech border property.

"It's a new challenge, and I personally enjoy challenges, just like the rest of the team," Brunato said. "WSOPE will always be closely connected with Rozvadov, where we managed to break WSOP Main Event records several years in a row. But I believe the combination of Prague and WSOPE will be great as well."

How Rozvadov Built Its Name

Rozvadov was not an obvious destination when King's Resort first committed to developing it into a major European poker stop.

"In the beginning, it was a bet on one big vision," Brunato said. "The early years required heavy investment, and almost every tournament ran with overlays. It took years to build what we have today."

Over time, the Czech border town became one of the most consistent stops on the European calendar, drawing players from across the continent and giving WSOP Europe a distinct identity outside Las Vegas. Brunato credits a long-term strategy and attention to detail at every event.

"We focus on our own goals rather than following what others are doing," he said.

A New City, a Familiar Standard

Prague is already an established poker destination in Europe, and Brunato sees the city's broad appeal as a practical advantage for a festival that runs nearly two weeks.

"Prague is often said to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world and that's no coincidence," Brunato said. "It combines rich history, stunning architecture, and an atmosphere full of people from all over the world."

For players spending 10-plus days on-site, the city offers options beyond the poker room. "So almost everyone can find something for themselves," Brunato added. "That's always key when you're hosting an event that keeps people in one place for more than 10 days."

Schedule and Main Event

The flagship event is the 5,300 euro Main Event with a 10 million euro guarantee, a lower buy-in than previous editions that is expected to draw a wider player pool.

"It's simply an offer that's hard to refuse for anyone who loves poker and wants to compete for one of the most prestigious trophies in the world," Brunato said.

The schedule also includes a 20,800 euro Super High Roller, an $8,400 GGMillion$ High Roller, a 5,300 euro PLO European Championship, and the 1,500 euro European Circuit Championship with a 1.5 million euro guarantee.

Brunato said the same focus on execution that drove Rozvadov's growth will carry into Prague. "An event is all about the experience," he said. "Even a small issue can change how a guest perceives it. That's why we focus on improving with every festival."
