The SiGMA Poker Tour has confirmed its next festival will take place at Portomaso Casino in St Julian’s, Malta, running from May 27 to 31, 2026. The five-day series features a €150,000 guaranteed prize pool featuring a €250 buy-in.

Portomaso Casino previously hosted the tour in September 2025 and has hosted international series such as the European Poker Tour, Malta Poker Festival, and Unibet Open. A valid ID is required for entry. The minimum age to enter the casino is 18 for international players and 25 for Maltese citizens.

Tour ambassadors John Arne Riise, Drea Karlsen, and Lucas Robinson are confirmed to attend the Malta series. Online registration for the upcoming event is open on the official SPT webpage.

The European announcement follows the recent conclusion of the SPT Brazil leg, which ran from April 3 to 6. The South American festival was built around a BRL 1,000,000 guaranteed Main Event.

Matias Guimarães won the Brazil Main Event, collecting the trophy and a payout of BRL 205,000. Organizers lowered the buy-in to BRL 2,000 on the first day, and the tournament ultimately drew 134 entries, including 34 re-entries, with 15 players advancing past the opening flights.

The Brazilian schedule included several other formats, such as a Mystery Bounty, the SiGMA Cup Championship, and a pizza tournament. In the women's field, Daniela Candido Prestes navigated an 82-entry field to win the SiGMA Divas event. She earned BRL 7,000 and a seat to the future SPT Mexico stop.
