The NorCal Poker Championships will run at Graton Resort & Casino in Rohnert Park, California, from August 20 through August 30, 2026, with 19 trophy events scheduled across 11 days.
The schedule includes a $400 PokerNews PowerStack with a $200,000 guarantee and a $1,100 NorCal Championship Event with a $300,000 guarantee. PokerNews will also provide live reporting for the Main Event.
PokerNews PowerStack Opens the Series
The $400 PokerNews PowerStack Trophy Event begins on August 20 and features five Day 1 groups across the opening three days.
Day 1A starts at 5PM on August 20. August 21 features Day 1B at 10AM and Day 1C at 5PM, followed by Day 1D at 10AM and Day 1E at 5PM on August 22. The Day 2 Finals are scheduled for 11AM on August 23.
The event carries a $200,000 guarantee.
Players will also find several satellites during the opening stretch. The $200 Package Satellites scheduled from August 20 through August 22 use a 1-in-10 format, with the package including a seat in the PowerStack and NorCal Championship plus $200 cash.
Mixed Games, Bounties and Other Trophy Events
The middle of the schedule expands beyond standard NLH tournaments.
August 23 includes the $400 Big Bounty Trophy Event and a $300 Tag Team PLO/NLH Trophy Event priced at $150 per player. On August 24, the schedule features a $400 Seniors NLH Trophy Event for players age 50+, a $300 Omaha 8 Trophy Event and a $200 Double Board Bomb Pot PLO Trophy Event.
The August 25 lineup includes a $400 Big Stack, a $300 T.O.R.S.E. Trophy Event and a $200 Turbo Trophy Event. August 26 adds the $600 Super Stack NLH Trophy Event, the $300 Mixed PLO (Big O / PLO / PLO8) Trophy Event and the $300 Black Chip / Ambassador Bounty NLH Trophy Event.
On August 27, players can enter the $400 1-Day NLH Trophy Event or the $300 Pot Limit Omaha Trophy Event before the NorCal Championship begins the following day.
$1,100 NorCal Championship Carries $300,000 Guarantee
The $1,100 NorCal Championship Event begins on Friday, August 28, with a $300,000 guarantee.
Day 1A starts at 10AM and Day 1B follows at 5PM. Two more starting groups are scheduled for August 29, with Day 1C at 10AM and Day 1D at 5PM.
The Day 2 Finals begin at 12PM on Sunday, August 30.
Multiple satellites are scheduled around the championship. These include $250 satellites using a 1-in-5 format as well as $200 Flip&Go Main Event Satellites.
NorCal Poker Championships Conclude August 30
The final day includes more than the NorCal Championship finals. A $400 River Room Final NLH Trophy Event begins at 11AM, followed by the championship finals at noon and a $200 Double Board Bomb Pot PLO 5 Card Trophy Event at 2PM.
Across the series, the schedule covers NLH, PLO, mixed-game, bounty, Seniors, Tag Team, Flip&Go and satellite formats.
