Tom Verbruggen won Event #111: High Roller – Ultra Stack at APT Jeju 2026, earning KRW 125,713,200 (approximately USD 94,520) and his third APT title.
The two-day event drew 141 entries and generated a KRW 523,650,200 prize pool. Forty-one players returned for the Final Day, with the top 20 finishing in the money.
Verbruggen began the day outside the top ten in chips but worked his way through the field before defeating the United Kingdom's Jun Li heads-up. Li finished runner-up for KRW 85,390,000 (approximately USD 64,200).
The win was the second-largest live cash of Verbruggen's career. He entered the event with more than USD 1.3 million in live earnings and had already cashed three times at APT Jeju 2026, including a 12th-place finish in an earlier High Roller – Ultra Stack.
Mehdi Takes Third, with Trinh and Xu Completing the Top Five
Chaoui Roqai Mehdi of Morocco finished third for KRW 56,310,000 (approximately USD 42,340). The three-time APT champion had already won Event #71: Turbo – Atomic Pineapple earlier in Jeju and had more than USD 7.5 million in live earnings.
Vietnam's Trinh Anh Tuan took fourth for KRW 46,520,000 (approximately USD 34,980), while Hang Xu finished fifth for KRW 37,350,000 (approximately USD 28,080).
Final Day chip leader Jiaxian Pan did not reach the final table.
Yih Ming Hsu Wins His Fourth Title in Jeju
Taiwan's Yih Ming Hsu won Event #119: PL Omaha Hi-Lo – 5 Card (Big O) – Oceans, topping a 20-entry field for KRW 5,230,240 (approximately USD 3,860).
Hsu had already won Events #4, #13 and #75 at APT Jeju 2026. His latest win gave him four titles at the festival and five APT titles overall.
Chao Ting Cheng finished runner-up for KRW 3,490,000, with Japan's Koyo Moriki third for KRW 2,240,000.
Scott Margereson Wins on Back-to-Back Days
Scott Margereson won Event #124: Turbo – NL Courchevel Hi-Lo – 5 Card just one day after taking down the APT High Roller.
The British pro topped the 22-entry field for KRW 3,790,352 (approximately USD 2,797). It was his third career APT title, with his last two victories coming on consecutive days in Jeju.
India's Abhinav Iyer finished second for KRW 2,530,000, while China's Xuan Zhou took third for KRW 1,620,000.
Five Players Claim Their First APT Titles
Junqiang Lyu earned his first APT title in Event #118: NL Hold'em – Freezeout. The 55-entry event paid Lyu KRW 10,030,000 (approximately USD 7,402) for the win.
Anton Lysenko finished second but received the event's largest payout, KRW 13,840,000. Fei Han took third for KRW 6,470,000.
Yixi Tang also claimed his first APT title in Event #120: Single Day High Roller. He topped the 25-entry field for KRW 70,560,000 (approximately USD 52,074). Renji Mao finished second for KRW 47,040,000, with Robertus Hollink third for KRW 30,240,000.
Japan's Haruna Matsumoto won her first APT title in Event #123: NL – Hold'em – 1 Re-Entry. The event drew 94 entries, and Matsumoto collected KRW 8,035,600 (approximately USD 5,930).
Matsumoto and Zhentao Long agreed to an ICM deal heads-up. Long finished runner-up but received the larger payout of KRW 9,290,528 (approximately USD 6,856).
Gvan Ir De became a first-time APT champion in Event #125: Turbo – NLH, winning the 27-entry event for KRW 4,183,388 (approximately USD 3,087).
Weiye Jiang added another first APT title in Event #127: Super Hyper Turbo – NLH, topping the 20-entry field for KRW 2,020,384 (approximately USD 1,491).
Fedotov Wins His Third Jeju Title, Li Reaches Five Overall
Mikhail Fedotov won Event #122: Fixed Limit – Seven Card Super Stud Mix, giving him three titles at APT Jeju 2026 and four APT titles overall.
The event drew 13 entries. Fedotov and fellow Russian Pavel Platonov agreed to an ICM deal heads-up, with Platonov receiving KRW 3,882,656. Fedotov took KRW 2,590,000 (approximately USD 1,911) along with the title and trophy.
Zehao Li won Event #126: Hyper Turbo – NL Triple Draw Mix for KRW 2,834,230 (approximately USD 2,092).
It was Li's third title at APT Jeju 2026 and his fifth career APT title.
