Poker Player Faces Six Felony Charges After Arrest During Strip Tournament
A Las Vegas poker player has found herself in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. Bing Du, a local player described by police as a “high-rated poker player,” has been charged with running an illegal brothel out of her Spring Valley home and laundering money from the operation.
Court filings show that Du was arrested on October 15 and faces six felony counts, including earning from a prostitute and encouraging a brothel. She made her first appearance in Las Vegas Justice Court the following day and was released after posting bail.
Police Say Poker Player Operated Brothel from Home
According to KLAS 8 News Now, Las Vegas Metro Police began investigating Du after receiving tips about possible prostitution activity. Detectives reportedly saw several men visiting her residence and leaving within an hour. During an undercover sting, an officer was allegedly offered a massage and sex for 200 dollars.
A search of the property uncovered multiple rooms outfitted with mattresses, as well as business cards reading “Asian beauties for discreet gentleman.” Investigators also found a large quantity of used condoms and other evidence suggesting the residence was being used as an illegal brothel.
Du Denies Allegations
Du denied any involvement in prostitution, telling investigators she was simply paid to “turn a blind eye on what the tenants were doing at the residence,” according to the police report.
Limited Poker Résumé Despite “High-Rated” Label
While authorities referred to Du as a “high-rated poker player,” her tournament record tells a modest story. The Hendon Mob database lists just 3,771 dollars in career earnings, with her most recent cash coming in a 250-dollar Daily Deepstacks event during the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP).

In addition to her poker activity, state business filings show Du as the managing member of Scooby-Du LLC, a Las Vegas company formed in August 2024.
