Fat Mike Burkett, frontman of California punk band NOFX, made the final table of the $1,100 Seniors event at WPT Rolling Thunder at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in northern California.
Burkett finished eighth and earned $3,000. He showed up to the final table photo holding what appeared to be an egg. The field drew 75 entries and built a $75,000 prize pool. Steven Spunt took the title and $25,345.

What's Next for Burkett
Burkett also entered the $3,500 WPT Rolling Thunder Championship but busted before the money. He is a regular at the Charity Series of Poker and plans to play the World Series of Poker this summer.
NOFX recently wrapped its final tour, and Burkett also produced a recently released documentary about the band. The WPT Rolling Thunder Championship runs through April 1, with Jeremy Becker, Brock Wilson, Matt Salsberg, and Marco Johnson among the players still in the field.
