Jake Cody, one of the few players in poker history to achieve the game’s coveted Triple Crown, added another major title to his resume with a win in the $5,300 Championship event at the 2025 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open (SHRPO).
Cody outlasted a field of 889 entries at the Hard Rock in South Florida, claiming the trophy and $510,850 after a three-way deal with Jeremy Wien and Stephen Song. It marks the British pro’s third-biggest tournament score and pushes his lifetime live earnings beyond the $5 million mark.
“It feels unbelievable, getting the trophy, winning the tournament,” Cody said after the win. “Even if you get a lot of money, actually winning just feels so good. I’m very happy with it.”
The SHRPO Championship carried a total prize pool of $4,311,650. Alongside Cody at the final table were notable names including Andjelko Andrejevic, Jasper Ma, and Chris Hunichen.
