Wilson entered the final day with a commanding chip lead. Dylan Linde was the closest competitor but trailed nearly 3:1. David Chen, starting short-stacked, could not find momentum and bowed out in seventh place for $63,000.
Jason Koon looked poised for a run before a brutal beat ended his chances. Holding queens, he clashed with Coleman’s ace-king in a massive preflop confrontation. Koon flopped top set, only to see Coleman complete a straight on the river, crippling the PokerStars ambassador. Koon busted shortly after in sixth place for $86,600.
Nick Schulman exited in fifth after losing a race to Doug Lee, while Coleman eliminated Linde in fourth for $157,500. Wilson then extended his lead further, eventually knocking out Lee in third place ($220,500) to set up the decisive duel.
Heads-Up Battle
Coleman began heads-up play with a 2:1 chip advantage. However, the two finalists agreed to a chop before play concluded. Wilson managed to hold off Coleman in the final exchanges, sealing the victory and $464,000. Coleman, already crowned the series champion with consistent deep runs including a victory in the opener, received $355,000 for his runner-up finish.
The Purple Jacket Champion
Coleman’s performance across the 10-event schedule proved unmatched. He opened the series with a win in the $1,000,000 guaranteed Showcase for $270,000 and never looked back. By the conclusion of Event #10, Coleman had officially locked up the 2025 Poker Masters Purple Jacket.
Wilson, meanwhile, continued his impressive rise among high rollers. With this latest triumph, his live tournament earnings climbed to nearly $8 million, according to The Hendon Mob.
