The RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) is bringing the action back to Southern California this month, as Jamul Casino prepares to host the RGPS Grand Prix San Diego from November 18 to 23. The six-day festival features more than $200,000 in guaranteed prize pools, headlined by a $600 buy-in Main Event with a massive $150,000 guarantee.
RunGood Brings the Heat to San Diego
Poker players across the West Coast will have plenty to look forward to as the Grand Prix series returns to Jamul Casino. The festivities begin on November 17 with the $200 Seniors Ring Event ($7,500 GTD), followed by the $200 Series Opener ($5,000 GTD) and the $200 Ambassador Bounty ($10,000 GTD).
Midweek play gets even deeper with the $300 Deepstack Ring Event, which offers two starting flights and a $25,000 guarantee, before transitioning into the ever-popular $300 Tag Team NLH Ring Event ($150 per player) with a $5,000 guarantee.
$600 Main Event Headlines the Festival
The spotlight event — the $600 Main Event — kicks off on November 21 with the first of three starting flights. Flights B and C run on November 22, and survivors will return on November 23 to play down to a champion. With $150,000 guaranteed and multiple starting opportunities, the Main Event is expected to draw a packed field of local grinders and traveling pros alike.
The closing day will also feature the $300 Black Chip Bounty ($10,000 GTD) and the $200 Series Closer NLH ($5,000 GTD), wrapping up another exciting stop on the RGPS circuit.
