Boeree posted photos from the desert festival along with the message, “We finally did it!!!” and confirmed the pair had wed at what she described as their “favourite place on earth.” Congratulations poured in from across the poker community.

Boeree and Kurganov spent years together as Team PokerStars pros and captured the 2017 WSOP $10,000 Tag Team Championship, banking $273,964. The duo famously donated half of that win to Raising for Effective Giving (REG), the charity co-founded by Kurganov to encourage poker players to donate to high-impact charities.

According to The Hendon Mob, the couple’s combined live tournament earnings stand at $25,769,301. Boeree accounts for $6.7 million of that total, while Kurganov sits second on Russia’s all-time money list. Though they play less frequently these days, both remain active.
