Foxen Crushes Again at PokerGO Studio
Alex Foxen has done it again. The American high-stakes superstar claimed another trophy inside the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas, winning Event #2: $5,300 PLO Quattro Bounty at the PGT PLO Series II for $87,000 plus $90,000 in bounties.
The victory marks Foxen’s second win in less than a month and his first in the PGT PLO Series II, pushing his lifetime earnings past $53 million. It also made him the first player in PokerGO Tour history to reach both 10,000 tour points and 100 cashes, according to PokerGO.

The event drew 133 entries and generated a $665,000 prize pool, another strong turnout for Omaha fans on the PokerGO Tour.
How Foxen Took Control
Foxen’s road to the title featured sharp aggression and perfectly timed pressure. A double knockout late on Day 2vaulted him to the final table with the chip lead, setting the tone for the run that followed.
Four-handed, he battled against Michael Wang, LaDarren Banks, and Kamel Mokhammad, with the Ukrainian short stack Mokhammad falling first when his king-high flush draw lost to Wang’s nut flush draw.
Wang managed to double through Foxen to briefly grab the chip lead, but Foxen stayed composed, reclaiming momentum when he eliminated Banks in third place.
The heads-up match ended with Foxen’s straight draw getting there on the river to beat Wang’s pocket kings — sealing another trophy for one of the game’s most consistent closers.
A Monster Year for Foxen
This win adds to a massive year for Foxen. In September, he won a PGT Poker Masters $10,000 event for $272,000 and finished runner-up in another for $196,000. Earlier in 2025, he captured a PGT PLO Series $15,000 event for $315,000, and last fall he claimed his second WSOP bracelet by taking down a WSOP.com $500 PLO Mystery Bounty** for $20,064.
Though he’s long been known for his No-Limit Hold’em dominance, Foxen’s recent stretch proves he’s just as dangerous in Pot-Limit Omaha — a game that rewards creativity and fearlessness, both of which he has in spades.
Lonis Opens the Series with a Win
The PLO Series II started with another American victory as Jesse Lonis captured Event #1: $5,100 PLO for $175,000, defeating Chino Rheem heads-up. Lonis spiced up the competition by making a $50,000 side bet with six other players.
“Definitely created some crazy dynamics and decisions,” Lonis posted on Instagram after the win.
The final table was packed with talent, including Josh Arieh, who recently claimed his seventh WSOP bracelet, and high-stakes regular Isaac Haxton.

The PGT PLO Series II continues through October 25 in Las Vegas, with Event #3: $5,100 PLO currently in play. The series will wrap up with the $25,200 PLO Championship on October 24, where the top Omaha specialists will once again battle for glory, bragging rights, and another six-figure payday.
