Christian "eisenhower1" Jeppsson of Sweden won the $5,200 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event at the 2026 Spring Championship of Online Poker on PokerStars, taking home $397,025 and his third SCOOP title.
The field drew 443 entries and built a $2,215,000 prize pool, with the top 55 players cashing. Among those who fell short of the final table were Joao "Naa114" Vieira, Bruno "great dant" Volkmann, Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi, and Guillaume "Nolet20" Nolet.
Final Table
Jeppsson entered the nine-handed final table fifth in chips with 7,114,156. Matheus "matheusttcm" Machado of Brazil led with 36,380,184, well ahead of second-place "NY17PATS14" of Canada on 24,931,713.
Two players carried extra storylines into the final. Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle, founder of Raise Your Edge, was looking to add a SCOOP Main Event title to the $5,000 WSOP Online Main Event he won in September 2025. Brazil's "stek94," who won this same event in 2025, had a chance at back-to-back victories and sat third in chips to start.
Neither got there.
"The+EVClown" was the first out. After min-raising from the cutoff with pocket nines, they called off 34 big blinds against Jeppsson's three-bet with pocket aces from the small blind. An ace on the flop left "The+EVClown" eliminated by the turn.
Rolle followed shortly after. He min-raised with pocket nines from the cutoff, Machado three-bet with pocket jacks on the button, and Rolle shoved for 32 big blinds total. Machado called, and a queen-high board sent Rolle to the rail in eighth place for $49,756.
"Ruba777leb" of Ukraine was next. "MyOnlyMemory" opened pocket queens from under the gun, Machado flat-called with ace-five of hearts, and "Ruba777leb" squeezed all-in for 12 big blinds on the button with pocket sevens. "MyOnlyMemory" re-jammed, Machado folded, and the sevens did not improve. "Ruba777leb" finished seventh for $66,942.
"stek94" went out in sixth. Jeppsson opened ace-ten from the cutoff, "stek94" three-bet with pocket jacks from the small blind, and "NY17PATS14" four-bet ace-king from the big blind. Jeppsson folded, but "stek94" shoved for 40 big blinds. "NY17PATS14" called and hit a king on the flop to win the pot. "stek94" collected $90,064.
Five-Handed to Heads-Up
"MyOnlyMemory" of New Zealand picked up the tournament's first six-figure cash after busting in fifth. "NY17PATS14" opened pocket jacks on the button, "MyOnlyMemory" three-bet king-queen of hearts from the small blind, and "NY17PATS14" four-bet enough to put them all-in. "MyOnlyMemory" called off their remaining 10 big blinds. "NY17PATS14" flopped a set of jacks, but the turn gave "MyOnlyMemory" a king-high straight. The river paired the board with a nine, improving "NY17PATS14" to a full house and eliminating the New Zealander for $121,173.
Sweden's "ShipitFTW911" was down to 14 big blinds when they put in 11 under the gun with pocket fours. Jeppsson re-raised with pocket sevens from the big blind, "ShipitFTW911" called off their last three big blinds, and the sevens held. "ShipitFTW911" finished fourth for $163,026.
Jeppsson Comes Back to Win
Jeppsson began three-handed play as the short stack, holding 41 big blinds against Machado's 121 and "NY17PATS14's" 147. He worked his way back through a series of pots against Machado.
The pivotal hand came at the three-hour mark. Jeppsson raised king-queen on the button, Machado called with eight-seven in the big blind, and check-raised a queen-six-five flop. Jeppsson called. An eight on the turn gave Machado a pair and an open-ended straight draw; he led for two-thirds pot and Jeppsson called again. A jack fell on the river and Machado put in 32 of his 33 remaining big blinds. Jeppsson called and won the pot.
Machado was left with one big blind, ran it up to 10, and then went with jack-ten of spades against Jeppsson's pocket aces. He could not improve and finished third for $219,337.
Jeppsson took a 147-to-74 big blind lead into heads-up against "NY17PATS14," but the match lasted over an hour before the final hand arrived.
Jeppsson raised jack-trey, "NY17PATS14" called with eight-seven, and the flop came five-jack-nine with two diamonds; "NY17PATS14" held the eight of diamonds. "NY17PATS14" check-raised on the flop, and Jeppsson called with his top pair. The four of spades on the turn brought a bet from "NY17PATS14," which Jeppsson called again. The ace of diamonds on the river completed a flush possibility, and "NY17PATS14" moved all-in for 25.3 million into a pot of 27.4 million. Jeppsson tanked for around 15 to 20 seconds and called.
Jeppsson made the correct call and secured the title.
"NY17PATS14" finished runner-up for $295,097. Jeppsson's $397,025 score marks his third SCOOP title.
