When a gold chest appears at a CoinPoker cash table, the hand has become a Splash Pot, with an extra real-money reward added to the action.
There is nothing to opt into or activate. Splash hands are triggered at random, with Regular Splashes worth up to 49BB and Mega Splashes ranging from 50BB to 1,000BB.
The poker itself does not change. Players play the hand as normal, then the Splash reward is distributed according to the table settings.
How Do CoinPoker Splash Pots Work?
When a Splash is triggered, a gold chest appears on the table and the hand continues under the usual poker rules.
Once the hand is complete, the Splash reward is split between the winner and the other eligible players. The winner's share is added to their stack, while rewards for the other players are credited to their CoinPoker balances.
The exact split depends on the table settings, so winning the hand does not automatically mean taking the entire Splash amount.
CoinPoker uses an RNG to determine when Splash hands occur and how much the Splash is worth. There is no fixed schedule or set number of hands between drops.
Regular Splash vs Mega Splash
Regular Splashes are worth up to 49BB.
Mega Splashes range from 50BB to 1,000BB and come through Infused Splash Pots, part of CoinRewards.
Infused Splash Pots currently apply to NLH and PLO cash games from $0.01/$0.02 through $0.02/$0.05.
That makes 1,000BB the top of the Mega Splash range, not the payout attached to every Splash hand.
Which CoinPoker Tables Have Splash Pots?
Splash Pots are available on eligible real-money cash games, including NLH, PLO, All-In or Fold (AoF) and Bomb Pot tables.
Regular Splash Pots can run on eligible cash games up to $25/$50. Tournament tables do not have Splash Pots, while private tables are excluded unless CoinPoker states otherwise.
There is no separate switch to turn on. On eligible tables, Splash Pots are active automatically.
How Often Do Splash Pots Appear?
There is no countdown to the next Splash and no fixed number of hands between drops.
Both the timing and Splash amount are determined by RNG. Playing more hands creates more opportunities to encounter one, and multi-tabling increases those opportunities further, but neither guarantees a Splash.
There is no timing pattern to chase.
How Is the Splash Pool Funded?
On eligible tables where the regular Splash Pot feature is active, a 0.1BB Splash fee is charged per hand, not per player. CoinPoker allocates 100% of that fee to the Splash Pool.
The micro stakes from $0.01/$0.02 through $0.02/$0.05 work differently: the Splash fee is not taken from the pot. Splashes at those stakes are Infused Splash Pots, with additional funds added through CoinRewards.
This is also the range where Mega Splashes from 50BB to 1,000BB can appear.
What Happens When the Gold Chest Appears?
A 1,000BB Mega Splash is the top of the range, not a guaranteed payout.
When the gold chest appears, there is no special strategy or separate game mode to activate. Play continues as usual, with an additional real-money Splash reward attached to the hand.
