PokerStars Open Malaga will return to Spain’s southern coast from June 22-28, 2026, with a live poker festival built around a €1,000,000 guaranteed Main Event and a series of off-the-felt activities.

The €1,100 Main Event is scheduled for June 24-28. It will headline a festival that also includes a €2,200 High Roller from June 23-24, a €550 Second Chance from June 26-27, a €5,000 Super High Roller on June 27, and a €400 Mystery Bounty Cup from June 27-28.

PokerStars has also announced a Players’ Lounge at Tulum Beach Bar, located close to the casino. The lounge is for players and guests, with live FIFA World Cup screenings, happy hours, quizzes, foosball, beer pong, games night activities, free merchandise, and evening drinks planned around the stop.

The activity program gives players several ways to spend time away from the tables while staying close to the main poker action.

The 2026 event follows a 2025 edition that drew 1,636 total Main Event entries from 944 unique players. Manuel Ferrari won last year’s PokerStars Open Malaga Main Event after a heads-up deal with fellow Italian Ermanno Di Nicola. Ferrari collected €206,300, while Di Nicola earned €188,360.

The 2025 Main Event generated a €1,570,560 prize pool. PokerStars also reported growth compared with the 2024 Malaga stop, with increases in both total entries and unique players.

The 2025 High Roller also posted a larger turnout than the previous year, according to PokerStars. Jorge Ruiz won that event and took home €112,960.
