Players who won WSOP Circuit rings in 2026 have until November 1 to reserve their $5,000 WSOP Paradise Package for December's tournament series in the Bahamas.
The package includes free entry to the $2,750 NLH WSOP Circuit Championship Mystery Bounty and a complimentary hotel stay at Baha Mar, the new venue for WSOP Paradise.
Six Circuit ring winners have shared their plans for the trip, including their tournament goals and what they hope to do away from the tables.
Circuit Winners Prepare for the $2,750 Mystery Bounty
Shawn Hall, winner of the Horseshoe Las Vegas $600 O8 or Better event, says the $2,750 Mystery Bounty will be the highest-buy-in tournament he has ever played. He has visited the Bahamas once before, but has never stayed at a resort like Baha Mar.
Michael Iacullo, who won the Horseshoe Hammond $400 Double Stack NLH event, has also visited the Bahamas twice, although neither trip was for poker.
The Marine Corps veteran hopes to play with some well-known players and meet a few of them if they are there. He is also looking forward to relaxing with his wife.
Rene Fernández started playing poker about four years ago and went on to win the Big Bola MX$8,000 NLH Turbo Bounty KO. At WSOP Paradise, he hopes to compete against some of the world's best players and pursue a WSOP gold bracelet.
His Circuit victory came on the same day his girlfriend won the Ladies Event.
First Bahamas Visits and Family Plans
Alcira Lagerwerf, 43, has followed the WSOP since she was 21. She won her first Circuit ring in the Casino Malta €300 NLH Ladies Event.
Her daughter, mother and sister plan to join her on her first trip to the Bahamas. Lagerwerf is also eager to play the $2,750 Mystery Bounty, hoping to make a deep run and compete for a WSOP gold bracelet.
Alison Wedding, winner of the Choctaw $400 Big O event, is planning her first visit to the Bahamas. A poker player and dealer, she hopes to meet players from around the world and perhaps share a table with some of her favorite professionals.
Kimberlee Lepa, who won the Caesars New Orleans $300 NLH Ladies Event, is excited about her first Circuit ring and her first TOC.
She joked that while other players are chasing bracelets and bounties, her priority will be getting an excellent return from the complimentary dinner buffet.
