Jeremy Ausmus defeated Aram Oganyan heads-up to win 2026 Poker Masters Event #7, collecting $278,400 and his 10th career PokerGO Tour (PGT) title.
The $15,700 No-Limit Hold'em tournament attracted 58 entries, with $870,000 in prize money awarded across nine paid places. Oganyan took home $174,000 as runner-up, while Joe McKeehen finished third for $121,800.
A Straight Puts Ausmus in Control
Ausmus started heads-up play with 86.4 big blinds to Oganyan's 58.6. He added to his lead with an early flush, but Oganyan fought back, making a straight against Ausmus' two pair to move ahead.
Ausmus regained the advantage on a 6-4-4-A-8 board. His 7-5 made a straight against Oganyan's 10-4, giving Ausmus a 10-to-1 chip lead.
On the final hand, Oganyan shoved with J-5, and Ausmus called with Q-7. The board offered Oganyan no help, and Ausmus secured the title.
Andrews, Mateos and McKeehen Fall Short
Five players returned for the final day, with Cherish Andrews holding the shortest stack. She was all in with A-Q against Ausmus' pocket nines. The flop came J-T-T, but fours on both the turn and river left Ausmus ahead. Andrews finished fifth for $65,250.
With four players remaining, Adrian Mateos lost chips on a failed bluff against Oganyan. He doubled up through McKeehen but then surrendered more chips to Oganyan.
Mateos was eventually forced all in from the big blind with 7-3. He couldn't beat Ausmus' pocket nines and finished fourth, earning $87,000 and 70 PGT points.
McKeehen followed in third place. After Oganyan raised, McKeehen three-bet all in with pocket nines, only for Ausmus to turn over pocket kings. Oganyan folded, and the A-J-T-6-3 board eliminated McKeehen. His third-place finish was worth $121,800.
Earlier, Dan Smith had fallen on the money bubble when his pocket tens lost to Oganyan's A-K in a preflop all-in.
Event #1 winner Myles Mullaly finished ninth, followed by Event #2 winner Nick Palma in eighth and Daniel Negreanu in seventh. Joey Weissman, who had won Event #3, placed sixth.
