Masao Ushida Wins APT Jeju 2026 Ultra Stack for KRW 57,673,200

Masao Ushida won Event #85: Ultra Stack on Day 10 of APT Jeju 2026, earning KRW 57,673,200 (~USD 42,563) and his first Asian Poker Tour title.

The two-day tournament drew 274 entries across three opening flights and generated a KRW 284 million prize pool against a KRW 150 million guarantee. Forty players returned for the Final Day, with Ushida coming back after finishing Flight C with the third-largest stack.

Ushida converted that position into the biggest live tournament result of his career. His first-place payout was worth more than nine times his previous total career live winnings.

Taiwan’s Chi Jen Chen finished runner-up for KRW 36,630,000 (USD 27,033), just days after winning Event #81: Turbo – NLH for his sixth APT title. Singapore’s Changjie Zhang took third for KRW 27,460,000 (USD 20,266), a result that moved his career live earnings past USD 300,000.

Nanthana Takes KRW 108.8 Million in the Single Day High Roller

Tharit Nanthana won Event #99: Single Day High Roller after finishing first in a 72-entry field, collecting KRW 108,808,000 (~USD 80,301).

The Thai player had already won Event #16: Hyper Turbo – High Roller earlier at APT Jeju 2026 and had also recorded a runner-up finish in another High Roller event. The Event #99 victory became his second career APT title and his largest result of the festival to that point.

Sweden’s Gabriel Karlsson finished second for KRW 78,380,000 (USD 57,845), while Germany’s Fabian Gumz placed third for KRW 50,950,000 (USD 37,601).

China’s Xiao Zhang picked up another High Roller result in Event #106: Hyper Turbo – High Roller. He finished first among 22 entries for KRW 12,509,200 (~USD 9,232), securing his second career APT title.

Stanley Manfred Weng took second for KRW 8,340,000 (USD 6,155), and Robertus Hendrikus Bernardus Hollink finished third for KRW 5,360,000 (USD 3,956).

Yu Tang Wang Reaches 11 Career APT Titles

Yu Tang Wang won Event #104: Turbo – NL 8-Game, finishing first in a 14-entry field for KRW 2,750,224 (~USD 2,030).

The victory took the Taiwanese player to 11 career APT titles.

Hong Kong’s Tsz Yeung Ka finished runner-up for KRW 1,840,000 (USD 1,358), with Japan’s Daisuke Someya third for KRW 1,150,000 (USD 849).

Stephen Pang, Chun Yu Ma and Zehao Li were among the other previous APT winners to take titles on Day 10.

Pang won the 142-entry Event #96: Sunday Superstack – Big Bounty and collected KRW 10,572,044 (~USD 7,802) in total prizes. His run included KRW 3,900,000 in bounties and gave him a third career APT title.

Ma also reached three career titles by winning the 22-entry Event #97: Masters Dealer's Choice. He earned KRW 9,362,000 (~USD 6,909) after facing Yang Lu heads-up.

Ma and Lu agreed to an ICM deal before continuing for the title. Lu received the larger payout of KRW 10,600,000 (~USD 7,823), but Ma won the event and trophy.

Li won Event #102: PL Omaha Hi-Lo – 5 Card (Big O), finishing first among 33 entries for KRW 7,602,896 (~USD 5,611). It was his fourth career APT title and his second at APT Jeju 2026.

Sun, Luo and Fedotov Win More Titles in Jeju

Yujie Sun won Event #98: Fixed Limit Omaha Ultimate Hi-Lo – Cry Me A River, taking first place in an 11-entry field for KRW 850,140 (~USD 627). It was his second APT title.

Anqi Luo earned her second title of APT Jeju 2026 in Event #101: Women's Event. She finished first among 15 entries for KRW 2,655,216 (~USD 1,959), following her earlier victory in Event #88: Fixed Limit – Choose Your Own Adventure.

Both of Luo’s APT titles have come during the Jeju festival.

Mikhail Fedotov won Event #107: Hyper Turbo – NL Omaha High – Double Board – Bomb Pot – Red River for KRW 2,250,486 (~USD 1,661). The 38-entry event gave him his third career APT title.

Xu, Leo Pang and Guangling Chen Win First APT Titles

Shu Xu earned his first APT title in Event #103: NL – Hold'em – KRW 320,000 Bounty per Player.

Xu reached heads-up play against Singapore’s Maurice Tan, and the two agreed to an ICM deal before continuing for the title. Xu eventually finished first and collected KRW 1,779,302 (~USD 1,313) in total prizes. He also accumulated KRW 960,000 in bounties.

Tan finished runner-up but received the larger overall payday. His KRW 2,450,000 (~USD 1,808) in total prizes included KRW 2,200,000 in bounties.

Hong Kong’s Leo Pang won his first APT title in Event #105: Turbo – NLH. Pang finished first in the 39-entry event for KRW 5,321,561 (~USD 3,927), defeating China’s Yanyang Deng heads-up.

Deng received KRW 3,670,000 (USD 2,708) for second place, while Difei Wu finished third for KRW 2,340,000 (USD 1,727).

Guangling Chen also secured his maiden APT title on Day 10, winning Event #108: Super Hyper Turbo – NLH.

Chen had no previously recorded live tournament cash before the event. He finished first among 30 entries for KRW 2,660,576 (~USD 1,963), making the victory his first recorded live cash as well as his first APT title.

Shi Xiaobin finished second for KRW 1,840,000 (USD 1,358), and Yan Zhang took third for KRW 1,170,000 (USD 863).
