CoinPoker’s June update puts its next major online festival at the center of attention, with the Battle of Malta Online Series set to bring a $30,000,000 guarantee to the platform.
The latest update also covers summer soccer-themed visuals inside the app, results from CoinPoker-linked players at the World Series in Las Vegas, and final figures from the completed World Poker Masters festival.
Battle of Malta Online Series Brings $30M Guarantee
The Battle of Malta Online Series is scheduled to start on July 12, with CoinPoker promoting a $30,000,000 guarantee across the festival. It is the largest guaranteed prize pool the platform has announced to date.
The series is expected to feature Main Events, trophies for selected highlight tournaments, and live Battle of Malta Autumn packages. CoinPoker has also teased the return of one of its larger Hold’em events as part of the festival lineup.
One point still needs confirmation from CoinPoker. The update includes both an August 13 end date in the summary and an August 3 end date in the main festival section, which describes 23 days of tournament action. For now, the key confirmed details are the July 12 start date and the $30,000,000 guarantee.
Soccer-Themed Tables and Avatars Arrive in the App
CoinPoker is also rolling out summer soccer-themed features, including a limited-time grassy table design, new table throwables, and country-inspired avatars.
Players can switch to the soccer-pitch table theme by right-clicking the table on PC or pressing and holding on mobile. The new throwables include a red card, a soccer ball, a save-shot effect, and other soccer-themed animations.
The update also ties the soccer theme to a leaderboard promotion, with €60,000 in free bets planned during the series. Eligibility and redemption details should be checked through the official promotion terms.
CoinPoker Names Pick Up World Series Results in Las Vegas
CoinPoker also highlighted several players connected to its World Series coverage, with results already coming across bracelet events, mixed games, high rollers, and side events.
Yuri Dzivielevski recorded the biggest listed score, winning the $100,000 NLH High Roller for $2,841,432. His other listed cashes include 10th in the $1,500 Limit Badugi for $8,979, 47th in the $1,500 Limit Hold’em for $3,186, 96th in the $1,500 NLH 6-Handed for $3,848, and 16th in the $10,000 Limit Razz Championship for $20,129.
Bobby James has three listed cashes so far: 136th in the $1,500 Pot Limit Big O for $3,650, 12th in the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em High Roller for $51,258, and 82nd in the $1,500 PLO Hi-Lo 8 or Better for $3,317.
Patrick Leonard has added five results. He finished 49th in the $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha for $12,199, 6th in the $1,500 Limit Hold’em for $20,576, 12th in the $10,000 Limit Seven Card Stud Championship for $21,496, 95th in the $1,500 Mixed Omaha for $3,392, and 49th in the $1,500 No Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw for $3,361.
Jean-Robert Bellande came close to another bracelet, finishing 2nd in the $3,000 No Limit Hold’em for $358,705. He also finished 31st in the $1,500 Limit Badugi for $4,136.
Ryan DePaulo has four cashes on the board: 287th in the $600 Pot Limit Omaha Deepstack for $1,200, 61st in the $1,000 + 500 NLH Super Turbo Bounty for $4,363, 109th in the $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha for $4,280, and 94th in the $600 No Limit Hold’em for $2,982.
World Poker Masters Ends With More Than $48M Awarded
World Poker Masters has now wrapped up, with CoinPoker reporting more than $48,023,300 awarded across Main Events, High Rollers, CoinMillions, CoinMasters tournaments, trophy events, satellites, and leaderboard races.
The festival began with a $25,000,000 guarantee and finished with much larger final numbers. Across the series, CoinPoker recorded 781 tournaments, more than 578,000 entries, 59 trophies awarded, more than 43 million hands dealt, and 81,876 cashes.
Satellites also played a major role throughout the festival. Players won 16,038 satellite tickets with a combined value of $2,984,875.
Several players turned those tickets into major tournament scores. DonLaM0cz won $63,525 in the $5,200 Monday High Roller, junglebird earned $62,067 in the $5,200 High Roller, and tako9999 secured $47,700 in the $250 2nd Chance.
With World Poker Masters complete, CoinPoker’s next major focus shifts to the Battle of Malta Online Series and its $30,000,000 guaranteed festival schedule.
