Gods of Poker Taipei 2026 reached the midpoint of its 10-day run at Asia Poker Arena with the opening flight of the NT$33,000 Main Event complete and two starting flights still to come in the NT$3 million guaranteed Accumulator Event.
Daeyoung Park led the five players who advanced from Main Event Flight A. The South Korean entered late in the 35-entry field and turned his 120,000 starting stack into 1,559,000.
Malaysia’s Lance Goh was the only other player to finish above one million, bagging 1,018,000 after eliminating Chien Hung Chi on the bubble. Goh’s pocket tens held against Chi’s ace-five to end Flight A.
Li Kung advanced with 695,000, Jung An Chiang with 611,000 and Chia Yun Wu with 329,000.

Four Main Event starting flights remain over the next three days. Each will play down to the top 13.5% of its field, with those players advancing and securing a portion of the NT$17 million guaranteed prize pool.
Kristof Segers, Hayato Kitajima, Melvyn Liwanpo, Kosuke Ito, Harry Halim, Jung Ho Im and Shi Rong Wang were among the players who did not advance from Flight A.
Accumulator Still Requires 343 Entries
The NT$5,500 Accumulator Event had recorded 257 entries after five of seven starting flights. Flight E added 76 entries, leaving another 343 required, excluding rake, to reach the NT$3 million guarantee.
Eleven players advanced from Flight E. Hsu Yu Lin was eliminated on the bubble after moving all-in with A♠3♥ against Jui Heng Tsai’s 8♠8♦. The board ran J♠7♠4♥K♥10♥, leaving Tsai’s pocket pair in front.
Ayato Watanabe topped the Flight E counts with 1,006,000. At that stage of the event, his stack was the only seven-figure total recorded in a single starting flight.

Hung Cheng Lin and Hsien Paul Wee each bagged chips for a second time and earned the NT$25,000 bonus available for doing so. Three players had already qualified twice before Flight E.
Two starting flights remained, so the final Accumulator prize-pool position had yet to be settled.
Rob Hollink Reaches Super High Roller Final Day
Mikael Andersson began the three-handed money bubble in Flight A of the NT$220,000 Super High Roller with the largest stack after accounting for the first two eliminations.
Rob Hollink then took a key pot from Andersson on a J♠10♦3♣Q♦2♠ board. Hollink’s K♠9♥ completed a king-high straight, while Andersson held Q♥7♦.
Andersson later moved all-in for just over eight big blinds with K♥8♣ and was called by Hollink with K♣Q♦. The 10♥8♦4♥ flop put Andersson ahead, but the Q♥ river gave Hollink the winning hand and ended Andersson’s run.
Hollink and Rudy Edenata advanced from Flight A. Harry Halim joined them through the turbo Flight B, defeating Kuo Wei Kao after his ace-deuce flopped a full house against pocket eights. Halim carried 240,000 into the final day.
The three players will compete for NT$2,134,000, with half of that amount reserved for the champion.
Day 5 Side Event Results
Fendy Kosasih won the NT$27,500 Turbo High Roller for NT$156,000 after defeating South Korea’s Jaegeol Cho heads-up.
Tomoya Hasewaga won Event #33 PLO Bounty for his fourth Side Event trophy and moved into second place on the festival leaderboard.
Kohichi Shimizu earned NT$129,560 for winning the Hyper Turbo High Roller, defeating Yuta Arai heads-up.
Po Yi Liu took down the NT$1 million guaranteed Titan Stack Daily for NT$279,000. The NT$11,000 event drew 93 entries and finished with a small overlay.
Day 6 Schedule
The final two Accumulator starting flights are scheduled for Day 6. Flight F begins at 12:30 p.m. local time, with registration closing at 3:15 p.m. Flight G starts at 7 p.m., with registration open until 9:45 p.m.
Main Event Flight B also starts at 12:30 p.m. Its structure begins with one 60-minute level followed by two 120-minute levels, with registration closing at 6:15 p.m. The blind level at that point is scheduled to be 1,500/3,000/3,000.
