PokerStars is offering $500,000 in WCOOP tickets through its WCOOP Lucky Dip promotion this September.

The promotion runs from September 6 to 26, 2026, during the World Championship of Online Poker. Players who opt in receive a random score for each eligible WCOOP tournament they play, with only their highest score of the day counting toward the daily leaderboard.

The top 1,050 players on each daily leaderboard receive WCOOP tickets worth between $5.50 and $1,050.

How the WCOOP Lucky Dip works

Players must opt in to the WCOOP Lucky Dip before their tournament play begins to count.

Once opted in, each eligible WCOOP tournament counts as one attempt. Each completed attempt generates a random score between 1 and 1,000,000.

There is no daily limit on attempts. Playing more eligible tournaments means more chances to draw a high score, but the scores are not added together. Only the best score recorded that day is entered on the daily leaderboard.

Tournament results do not determine the Lucky Dip score. The score is assigned at random.

Daily WCOOP Lucky Dip prizes

Each daily leaderboard pays the top 1,050 positions.

Rank WCOOP Ticket
1–5 $1,050 WCOOP ticket
6–10 $1,050 WCOOP Main Event Medium ticket
11–40 $109 WCOOP ticket
41–90 $109 WCOOP Main Event Low ticket
91–140 $55 WCOOP ticket
141–300 $11 WCOOP ticket
301–1,050 $5.50 WCOOP ticket

More than $27,500 in WCOOP tickets is available on each Lucky Dip day, with $500,000 in tickets offered across the promotion.

Lucky Dips are scheduled from September 6 through September 26, excluding September 11, 18 and 25.

You need to opt in before playing

Players need an active and verified real-money PokerStars account and must opt in to the WCOOP Lucky Dip Leader Board.

Players can select “Start” in the Leader Board section of the app or client, or opt in at a qualifying WCOOP table.

Only one opt-in is required for the promotion. Any eligible WCOOP tournaments played before opting in will not count.

Which WCOOP tournaments count?

The promotion applies only to categorized WCOOP tournaments with real-money buy-ins.

PokerStars specifically excludes WCOOP qualifiers and Phased tournaments from the Lucky Dip.

What happens if players have the same score?

If players have the same leaderboard score, they are ranked by when their last eligible WCOOP tournament for that leaderboard was played, from first to last.

Each daily leaderboard runs from 00:00 ET until 23:59 ET.

When are WCOOP Lucky Dip tickets awarded?

PokerStars says rewards will be issued within 24 hours after each daily leaderboard ends.

Rewards are credited inside a Chest, and players must open it to claim their ticket. Unopened Chests expire on September 29.

The tickets themselves expire on September 30, the final day of WCOOP 2026. They cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, T-Money or other tickets.

Players can check their tournament tickets and expiry dates under “My Rewards” and then “Tournament Tickets” in PokerStars.

WCOOP 2026 starts September 6

The Lucky Dip begins on the same day as WCOOP 2026.

This year’s World Championship of Online Poker runs from September 6 to 30 and features 121 events and 350 tournaments across High, Medium and Low buy-in levels.

The Lucky Dip ends on September 26, four days before WCOOP finishes. Tickets won through the promotion expire on September 30.
