WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Hammond Overview
Seventeen World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) rings will be on the line when the tour stops at Horseshoe Hammond in Hammond, Indiana, beginning Sept. 11. The Chicagoland series brings a full slate of no-limit hold’em events plus three mixed-game tournaments, anchored by a $1,700 Main Event with a $1 million guaranteed prize pool.
Ahead of the Hammond stop, the Circuit is currently in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Action began on Thursday with the first two of 18 ring events, and that series runs through Sept. 15.
Series Highlights
- Opening day (Sept. 11, 10 a.m.): $400 Double Stack No-Limit Hold’em with a $50,000 guarantee.
- Also Sept. 11: Day 1A of the $400 Mini Main Event, a $500,000 guaranteed no-limit hold’em tournament featuring five opening flights (two flights per day on Sept. 12–13).
- Seniors spotlight: $400 Seniors No-Limit Hold’em (50+) on Sept. 14 with a $50,000 guarantee; a second $400 Seniors (50+) runs Sept. 21 with another $50,000 guarantee.
- Monster Stack: $400 Monster Stack No-Limit Hold’em with a $250,000 guarantee begins Sept. 15 and offers three Day 1 sessions.
- Added value: Event #8 on Sept. 17 is a $400 No-Limit Hold’em with $100,000 guaranteed and 18 Circuit Main Event seats added.
- Mixed games return with $400 Pot-Limit Omaha (Sept. 14), $400 Omaha 8 (Single Re-Entry) (Sept. 15), and a $400 H.O.R.S.E. tournament (Sept. 17).
- The series wraps on Sept. 22 with Event #17: $400 30K Closer No-Limit Hold’em, guaranteeing $30,000.
Main Event Details
The $1,700 WSOPC Horseshoe Hammond Main Event begins Sept. 18 at 11 a.m. and carries a $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. There are three Day 1 flights:
- Flight A: Sept. 18 (11 a.m.)
- Flight B: Sept. 19 (11 a.m.)
- Flight C: Sept. 20 (11 a.m.)
All surviving players return for Day 2 on Sept. 21.
