Taipei to Host Two APT Festivals

APT Taipei 2027 runs from April 21 to May 3, spanning 13 days. Taiwan previously hosted the largest non-Championship festival in APT history.

Taipei will also host APT Championship 2027 from November 12 to 28. The 17-day festival features the APT Championship Main Event Freezeout with a USD 10,000 buy-in. Poker Hall of Famer Erik Seidel dubbed the Main Event “the Asian Main Event.”

The Championship will also feature APT Lion Trophy events.

Jeju Classic Main Event Has KRW 2.2 Billion Guarantee

APT Jeju Classic 2027 takes place from January 22 to 31. The Main Event at the 10-day festival has a KRW 2.2 billion guarantee (approximately USD 1.6 million) and a buy-in of KRW 2.2 million (approximately USD 1,600).

APT Jeju 2027 runs from October 1 to 10. Jeju previously hosted APT's largest festival in South Korea.

APT says eight consecutive tour stops set records, from APT Manila Classic in February 2025 through APT Incheon 2026.

The tour expects thousands of players from more than 50 countries and regions to compete during the 2027 season.
