With record-breaking entries, unprecedented prize pools, and the debut of a new mid-stakes circuit, the festival set a new standard that will be difficult to match.
Historic Numbers at Jeju
Over the course of 18 tournaments, a total of 3,349 entries generated $144,270,000 in prize pools, averaging more than $8 million per event. Collectively, champions walked away with $30,825,125.
The $100,000 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event stood out as a landmark moment, drawing 285 entries and building a record-setting $28,500,000 prize pool — the largest ever for a six-figure buy-in tournament. China’s Wenjie Huang emerged victorious after defeating Dan “Jungleman” Cates heads-up, earning $5,555,555.

The Man Behind the Scenes
Luca Vivaldi, who has overseen Triton tournaments for years, received international recognition when he was awarded Best Tournament Director at the 2025 Global Poker Awards. Known for his meticulous approach, Vivaldi explained:
“In Italian, there’s a word that describes a person who (pays) attention to details. I am very picky. I don’t think many colleagues like me for this because I am always too picky. But I think attention to details is definitely what … makes a difference.”
Triton ONE: Expanding the Stage
Alongside the Super High Roller Series, Jeju hosted the debut of Triton ONE, a new mid-stakes circuit aimed at widening access to the Triton experience. Across 10 tournaments, the festival attracted 3,541 entries and distributed $20,876,308 in prize money. Several marquee events surpassed the $1 million prize pool mark, signaling strong demand.
The $8,000 Main Event drew 1,046 entries for a prize pool of $7,607,558. Former German footballer Joshua Gebissa secured the title, earning $975,225 after a heads-up deal with Thailand’s Punnat Punsri, who collected a larger payout of $1,205,775.

Looking Forward
The success of both the Super High Roller Series and Triton ONE demonstrates Triton Poker’s dual strength: commanding the highest buy-ins in the world while also building a bridge for ambitious mid-stakes players.
In September 2025, Triton returned to Jeju for another series, with expectations of strong fields but no illusions of surpassing March’s historic numbers. Early highlights included 311 entries in the $25,000 WPT Global Slam and a third career title for Triton co-founder Richard Yong in the $50,000 Short Deck.
