Mixed game poker comes to The Orleans Hotel & Casino this October as Allen Kessler brings his Chainsaw Mixed Series of Poker (CMSOP) to the off-Strip property from October 17–26, 2025. The schedule combines a wide range of mixed-game formats with player-friendly structures, while also including no-limit hold’em events to appeal to all types of players.
Kessler Expands CMSOP to The Orleans
Allen Kessler, a veteran professional with more than $4.6 million in live tournament earnings according to The Hendon Mob, launched the CMSOP earlier in 2025 to promote poker formats beyond no-limit hold’em. Previous editions have been staged at properties such as Planet Hollywood, and The Orleans now joins the list as one of the premier hosts. The casino’s poker room is one of the top poker rooms in town.

Being passionate about the advancement of more than just NLH, the series will have a variety of tournaments as well as different price points to appeal to players of all skill levels.”
Series Format and Structures
Buy-ins range from $100 to $800 across the 10-day festival. Events use Kessler’s signature “Chainsaw-approved” structures, with starting stacks up to 50,000 chips and blind levels of 20 to 40 minutes depending on the tournament. While the majority of the schedule is dedicated to mixed games, several no-limit hold’em tournaments are included to round out the offering.
The series opens on October 17 with the $400 H.O.R.S.E. Championship ($12,500 guaranteed). Two no-limit hold’em tournaments also run that day: a $200 Monster Stack ($10,000 guaranteed) and the $150 Friday Night Monster Stack ($20,000 guaranteed).

- October 24: $600 T.O.E. Championship ($20,000 guaranteed)
- October 25: $800 T.O.R.S.E. Championship #2 ($30,000 guaranteed)
The series will conclude on October 26 with two marquee events: the $200 Sunday Special with a $50,000 guarantee and Day 2 of the T.O.R.S.E. Championship.
