Final Weekend Action Across Four States
The inaugural 2025 BetRivers Poker Championship is entering its final weekend, giving players in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Delaware, and West Virginia one last chance to climb the leaderboards and chase major prize guarantees. Running since September 21, the series has already delivered millions in action across 112 events with buy-ins ranging from $2 to $500, and more than $545,000 guaranteed in prize pools.
Main Event Headlines Sunday Schedule
While Saturday features a $100 Classic event with a $10,000 guarantee, the spotlight is firmly on Sunday. The action peaks with the $200 Main Event, kicking off at 6 p.m. ET with a $40,000 guaranteed prize pool. This will be the defining moment of the series and the last opportunity for players to secure a marquee title.
The Sunday slate also features multiple high-stakes opportunities, from the $500 Super High Roller ($20,000 GTD) to the budget-friendly Mini Main Event ($20 buy-in, $6,000 GTD), offering something for every type of player.

Extra Incentives: Leaderboards and Freerolls
Beyond the prize pools, BetRivers has packed in extra value. The Encore Freeroll Series offers up to $12,000 in additional prizes, while leaderboard competitions add another layer of excitement.
- Gold Leaderboard Champion earns $1,000 in tournament tickets, with payouts extending to the top 20.
- Silver Leaderboard Champion secures $200 in tickets, also rewarding the top 20 finishers.
This structure ensures that consistent performers—not just big winners—walk away with added rewards.
Poker Icons Backing the Series
The championship has also gained visibility through its star ambassadors. Phil Galfond, a Pot-Limit Omaha legend, and Phil Hellmuth, the all-time WSOP bracelet leader, have been central to the promotion. Hellmuth alone streamed over a dozen hours of play earlier this year and continues to headline Hellmuth’s Home Game, a BetRivers-sponsored CBS Sports broadcast.
The 2025 BetRivers Poker Championship concludes on October 5, and all eyes will be on the $200 Main Event to see who claims the final crown. A complete winners’ list will be published after the series wraps up.
