Rampage Crushed by Three-Outer in Wild Hustler Casino Live Hand

Another Rough Night for Ethan “Rampage” Yau on Max Pain Monday

Ethan “Rampage” Yau can’t seem to catch a break on Hustler Casino Live. The 28-year-old poker vlogger endured another brutal session during this week’s Max Pain Monday, dropping $40,000 after a heartbreaking river card flipped what looked like a winning hand into another costly defeat.

The latest loss adds to a rollercoaster month for Rampage, who earlier in October admitted he “felt the urge to punt” and dusted off more than $215,000 in a single HCL appearance.

The Four-Way All-In That Went Sideways

The $10/$20/$40 Max Pain Monday lineup isn’t the biggest on HCL, but it rarely disappoints. With the “run it once” rule in effect, big pots and brutal coolers are part of the entertainment — and Rampage found himself right in the middle of one.

Rampage opened the action from the lojack to $400 holding A♦10♦. Peter called from the hijack with A♠5♥, before Coco looked down at A♥Q♥ in the small blind and three-bet to $2,000. JT called from the straddle with 8♦8♣, and Nikos came along with A♣2♣.

When the action returned to Rampage, he moved all-in for $10,000. Peter released his hand, Coco called for slightly less, JT made the call covering everyone, and Nikos shoved in his remaining $3,630 to set up a massive four-way all-in.

With every ace accounted for, JT’s pocket eights looked like the hand to beat — until the J♥10♥3♦ flop gave Rampage top pair and the lead. Coco had plenty of outs with a royal flush draw and even started celebrating early. The 7♦ turn improved Rampage further with a flush draw, while Nikos was already drawing dead. JT picked up two straight outs (the black nines) plus the case eight for trips — three outs in total.

The river brought the case 8♠, giving JT a set and the $35,830 pot.

Big Swings Across the Board

The hand defined the night, but JT wasn’t the biggest winner. That honor went to Sam, who topped the session with a $49,210 profit. JT’s river miracle helped him finish close behind at +$46,370, while Titus also bagged a nice win of $15,850. Sashimi rounded out the list of winners, up $2,530.

The rest of the lineup wasn’t so lucky. Francisco (-$23,000), Nikos (-$21,820), and Raver (-$20,480) all booked five-figure losses, while Peter (-$8,820), Coco (-$1,900), and DonkeyKwon (-$300) also finished in the red.

A Painful Month for Rampage

For one of poker’s most recognizable streamers, the last few weeks have been a grind. Rampage’s trademark aggression keeps fans tuning in, but October has tested even his resilience with several heavy losses on stream.

Still, his fearless style and willingness to mix it up in high-stakes action remain part of what makes him one of the most entertaining figures in live poker. On Max Pain Monday, the deck once again lived up to its name — and Rampage took the full brunt of it.
