Ted Jackson-Spivack Wins $1100 TORSE Championship For Third CMSOP Title

Jackson-Spivack Captures Another CMSOP Trophy

Just two days after locking up his second trophy of the 2025 Chainsaw Mixed Series of Poker at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, England’s Ted Jackson-Spivack returned to the felt and claimed the $1100 T.O.R.S.E. Championship for $15,749. The win marked his third title of the series and capped a stellar run that also earned him overall series honors and an additional $3,000 bonus.

Jackson-Spivack made the long trip of more than 5,200 miles to compete in the mixed game festival. Despite firing four bullets to stay alive, he stayed aggressive throughout the tournament. In his own words: “I definitely play wider than most in general. When you do that, you win tournaments. You also bust a lot. I did four bullets in this. I don’t think anyone else did, but that’s fine. I won the most.”

Stacked Final Table and Fierce Competition

The final table brought some of the toughest competition of the week. Jackson-Spivack noted that it was “the toughest of the three, for sure,” with heavy hitters such as reigning $1,100 H.O.R.S.E. champion Damjan Radanov and Nick Pupillo, who reached all three $1,100 Championship final tables.

The event drew 49 entries for a prize pool of $48,020. Only eight spots were paid, and Tyler Patterson fell on the bubble before Hye Park followed soon after to set the final table lineup.

Pupillo Reaches Third Championship Final Table

Nick Pupillo’s deep run was one of the major storylines of the day. Entering the session determined to improve on two previous fifth place finishes, he said before play began: “I’m not getting another fifth place!”

Leonard August’s elimination in fifth place confirmed that Pupillo had already overcome that hurdle. Paul Holder later exited in a Stud Hi Lo hand, and Radanov followed shortly after when Jackson-Spivack scooped an Omaha Hi Lo pot to end his bid for back to back titles.

Heads Up Showdown

Pupillo entered heads up action as the chip leader, but the high betting limits in the mixed rotation quickly shifted momentum. In the final hand, he found himself all in during a 2 7 Triple Draw battle. Pupillo drew to an eighty six, but Jackson-Spivack revealed an eighty five to clinch the championship.

Speaking about Pupillo’s performance, Jackson-Spivack added: “He played very well in every game.”

Jackson-Spivack’s Remarkable CMSOP Run

A mixed game specialist, Jackson-Spivack mentioned that he missed this summer’s inaugural T.O.R.S.E. event at the World Series of Poker due to deep runs in the $10,000 Pot Limit Big O Championship and the $10,000 PLO 8 or Better Championship, both ending in ninth place. With three CMSOP trophies now secured, he will also play the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas in December.
