The World Poker Tour (WPT) will return to The Venetian Resort Las Vegas this fall for the WPT Venetian Las Vegas Fall Festival, running from Oct. 28 through Nov. 15.

The festival will feature the $5,000 buy-in WPT Venetian Las Vegas Fall Championship from Nov. 5-10, with a $2 million guaranteed prize pool.

Nearly $4 Million in Guarantees Across the Festival

The WPT Venetian Las Vegas Fall Festival is set to offer nearly $4 million in guaranteed prize pools across its schedule.

In addition to the Championship, the festival will include several bounty events, a seniors event and multiple satellite opportunities.

The Championship final table will be livestreamed from the new streaming room inside The Venetian Poker Room.

The tournament will also be one of the final WPT Championship events of the season. Players will compete for a WPT title and a place on the Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup.

WPT CEO Adam Pliska said players responded positively when the tour returned to The Venetian Resort Las Vegas earlier this year. He also highlighted the continued partnership between WPT and The Venetian Resort.

Nick Seward Won the Spring Championship

The fall event follows the WPT Venetian Las Vegas Spring Championship, where Nick Seward topped a field of 488 entrants to win his first World Poker Tour title.

Seward defeated Greg Brown heads-up and collected $418,700. The Championship generated a $2.2 million prize pool.

Tommy LaRosa, director of poker operations at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, pointed to the success of the spring Championship while discussing the upcoming fall event. He also highlighted the $2 million guarantee and the opportunity for players to compete for a WPT title.
