The poker world turns its eyes to the Caribbean this week as the 2025 World Series of Poker Paradise prepares to launch at Atlantis Paradise Island. Running from December 4 through December 18, the festival returns with an aggressive schedule that features 15 gold bracelet events and the largest guaranteed prize pool in live poker history.
High stakes action defines this year’s series. The schedule includes a historic partnership with the Triton Poker Series and a headline tournament that guarantees $60,000,000 in prize money.
The $60 Million Super Main Event
The centerpiece of the festival is Event #11, the $25,000 Super Main Event. Organizers have set a $60,000,000 guarantee for this No-Limit Hold’em tournament, a figure that eclipses all previous records for guaranteed prize pools.
Play for the Super Main Event begins on December 10. To meet this ambitious target, GGPoker has qualified over 1,000 players through online satellites. This includes winners from the “WSOP Express” promotion and those who utilized the new Early Bird Packages.
Triton Poker Debuts Bracelet Events
For the first time ever, the Triton Poker Series will award official WSOP gold bracelets. This collaboration brings the world’s highest stakes tournaments directly into the WSOP schedule.
The Triton-branded events include:
- Event #3: $100,000 Triton PLO Main Event on December 5.
- Event #5: $250,000 Triton Invitational on December 7.
- Event #9: $100,000 Triton NLH Main Event on December 9.
The $250,000 Triton Invitational features a curated format where the field is split evenly between invitees and professionals. Each invited businessperson or recreational player selects one professional to join the field, with both players paying the $250,000 entry fee.
Opening Week Highlights
Action kicks off on December 4 with Event #1, the Circuit Championship Mystery Bounty. This $2,500 buy-in tournament serves as the finale for the WSOP Circuit season and carries a $5,000,000 guarantee.
The first week also features the $50,000 High Roller Turbo on December 6 and the $5,000 Super COLOSSUS on December 7.
Bonus Money for Vegas Grinders
The WSOP has introduced a “Super Main Event Parlay” to reward players who performed well during the summer series in Las Vegas. Players are eligible for cash bonuses if they have seven or more cashes in the 2025 Vegas WSOP, a cash in the 2025 Main Event, or a 2025 bracelet win.
Qualified players who reach the final table of the Paradise Super Main Event will receive a $100,000 bonus. If a qualified player wins the event, the bonus increases to $250,000.
Streaming and Coverage
Fans can watch the high-stakes action live from home. The WSOP YouTube channel will stream coverage for seven days starting December 12. CBS Sports Network is also scheduled to air produced episodes of the festival.
