Oskar Bilstad won the PokerStars Open Malaga 2026 €1,100 Main Event, taking the title and €178,840 after a three-way deal among the final three players.
The Norwegian topped a 1,753-entry field in Malaga, where the Main Event generated a €1,682,880 prize pool and set a new participation record for the festival.
Final Three Adjust Payouts Before Playing for Trophy
The tournament ran from June 24 to 28, 2026, and reached its final day with 16 players still in contention. The scheduled first-place prize was €258,080, but the final three players agreed to adjust the payouts before continuing for an additional €18,000 and the championship trophy.
Bilstad secured the title, while Hungary’s Daniel Heredi finished runner-up for €175,980. Andorra’s Jose Valls placed third but received the largest payout from the deal, earning €180,160.
