BCPoker MTTs are played across multiple tables at the same time, with tables gradually combined as players are eliminated. The field eventually plays down to a single table, and rewards vary according to finishing position.
Before entering, it helps to know where registration takes place, when it can be cancelled, and how re-entry differs from a rebuy.
What Is an MTT?
MTT stands for Multi-Table Tournament.
Unlike a Single-Table Tournament, or STT, an MTT has players competing across several tables at the same time. As the field gets smaller, tables are combined until the tournament reaches a single table.
Players receive different rewards based on where they finish.
How to Register for a BCPoker Tournament
Current tournaments are listed under the 【LOBBY】 tab.
If registration is still open, players can select the tournament, open its details page and complete registration by paying the required entry fee. BCPoker also offers many free tournaments.
A registration can be cancelled up to 3 minutes before the tournament starts.
How Re-Entry Works on BCPoker
In a re-entry tournament, players can enter the same event again after being eliminated.
In tournaments other than freerolls, players who lose all of their chips are offered the option to re-enter immediately. If they do not re-enter at that point, they can also return to the tournament lobby and re-enter from there.
Each re-entry is treated as a new registration, so another fee is required each time.
Re-Entry vs. Rebuy
Re-entry and rebuy both involve an additional payment, but they are handled differently.
In a rebuy tournament, the player keeps the same seat after rebuying.
With re-entry, the player is first eliminated from the event and then enters again as a new registration. Each re-entry requires another paid registration, which adds to the prize pool.
Are Re-Entries Limited?
That depends on the tournament.
Some events set a limit on how many times a player can re-enter, and the number can vary from one tournament to another.
If a tournament has a re-entry limit, it will be shown in the lobby.
How Re-Entry Affects Staking
Re-entry also matters when staking is involved.
If someone buys the action of Player A, that action applies only to Player A’s first entry.
If Player A is eliminated and later re-enters the tournament, the new entry is not included in the action originally purchased.
