How does BCPoker account for player funds, and what can players actually verify after a hand? On its official Trust page, BCPoker outlines its 1:1 Proof of Reserves, a decentralized RNG that allows players to check the shuffle after a hand is complete, and its Anjouan Gaming License.
User Assets Are Covered 1:1
BCPoker says it holds enough reserves to cover user assets on a 1:1 basis, with additional reserves held beyond that amount.
The calculation only covers funds held for users. BCPoker's own corporate assets are stored in separate wallets and are not included in its Proof of Reserves figures.
Players Can Verify the Shuffle After a Hand
BCPoker uses a decentralized random number generator, or RNG, that takes input from every player at the table when shuffling the deck.
The system uses KECCAK-256, the same cryptographic hash function used on the Ethereum network.
Once a hand is complete, players can verify the randomness of the deck and see the cards that were left undealt.
BCPoker says the RNG module cannot be reverse engineered, which allows information about the deck order to be disclosed safely.
BCPoker Operates Under an Anjouan Gaming License
BCPoker operates under an Anjouan Gaming License. Its Trust page also refers to the company's partnership with Anjouan Licensing Services Inc.
According to BCPoker, the regulatory framework is designed to uphold fairness, integrity, and trust. The company also says its partnership with Anjouan Licensing Services Inc. supports compliance with anti-money laundering requirements.
