Gordon Leads on Points but Has Yet to Qualify
Graeme Gordon held the highest points total in the Player of the Series race at the end of Day 6, but he had yet to meet the eligibility requirements.
Players needed at least three cashes in points-earning events to qualify for the title. Gordon had recorded only two, leaving him one qualifying cash short.
Just four players had met the requirement at that stage, with Joichi Fukui leading the standings among eligible contenders. Gordon needed one more cash in a points-earning event to become eligible for the Player of the Series title.
