Foxen Takes Control Before Lichtenberger Turns the Match
Lichtenberger entered the six-handed final table second in chips. Lonis scored the first knockout, eliminating Victoria Livschitz in sixth place. Foxen then eliminated Dylan Linde, Brandon Wilson and Lonis in succession.
That run sent Foxen into heads-up play with a lead of roughly 10 to 1. Lichtenberger doubled up twice early in the match, then split another all-in pot to stay alive. He went on to win several key pots, eventually building a chip lead of more than 7 to 1.
The lead changed hands again when Foxen doubled twice. Lichtenberger answered with two double-ups of his own and completed the comeback to secure the title.
PGT Standings After Event #6
Foxen’s runner-up finish added 120 points to his season total and moved him into third place in the PGT Player of the Year race with 1,897 points. He stood 45 points behind second-place Brock Wilson after the event.
Brandon Wilson’s fourth-place result lifted him to seventh with 1,616 points. Lonis made an 11-place jump to 23rd with 1,183 points, and his four PGT Sprint cashes were worth 360 points in the series.
Lichtenberger collected 192 points for the win and reached 379 points across PGT Sprint. The official report put the top-40 cutoff at 974 points, with Sergio Martinez Gonzalez in 40th place.
A Top-40 Finish Does Not Guarantee PGT Championship Entry
The season-ending PGT Championship is scheduled for January 11–12, 2027, with a $500,000 freeroll prize pool. The event is open to eligible players ranked in the PGT top 40, as well as select Dream Seat winners.
A top-40 position alone does not guarantee a seat. Players must also record at least four PGT cashes during the season, including one in a PGT-owned-and-operated event, and opt in before the final series. If a ranked player does not meet those conditions, the seat passes to the next eligible player.
