Austin’s The Lodge Card Club is back on the World Poker Tour® schedule this fall, with the WPT Prime Lodge Championship set to return to Texas.
The festival will run from Sept. 24 through Oct. 12, highlighted by the $1,100 buy-in WPT Prime Lodge Championship from Oct. 8-12. The Championship event will feature a $1 million guaranteed prize pool.
WPT Prime Returns to Austin
The WPT Prime Lodge Championship made its debut in 2025 and quickly became one of the standout WPT Prime stops of the season. The event drew 1,648 entries and generated a $1,598,560 prize pool, clearing the $1 million guarantee.
After four days of play, Harvey Castro won the WPT Prime title and earned the $225,020 first-place prize.
WPT CEO Adam Pliska pointed to last season’s response as a sign of the strength of the Texas poker scene.
“The response to last season’s WPT Prime Lodge Championship demonstrated just how strong the poker community is in Texas,” Pliska said. “We are thrilled to return to The Lodge Card Club with another $1 million guaranteed Prime Championship event.”
Satellites, Daily Events, and Livestream Coverage
Beyond the Championship event, the festival schedule will include a variety of events, satellites, and daily tournaments throughout the series. Players will also be able to qualify for the Prime Championship event through live satellites held during the festival.
The WPT Prime Lodge Championship will again include livestream coverage from The Lodge Card Club’s streaming room. Additional details, including the full stream schedule, will be announced soon.
WPT Season 24 Continues
The Austin festival is part of the second half of the World Poker Tour Season 24 schedule.
Other listed stops include WPT Cyprus at Chamada Prestige Hotel & Spa in August, WPT Australia at The Star Sydney in September, WPT bestbet Scramble at bestbet Jacksonville in September, WPT Prime Lodge in Austin, Texas in September, and WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star at Bay 101 Casino in San Jose, California, in October.
The schedule also includes WPT Venetian at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas in October and November, followed by the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas in December.
