CoinPoker’s June update puts the spotlight on its next major online festival, with the Battle of Malta Online Series set to carry a $30,000,000 guarantee.
The operator also used the update to cover several other developments, including soccer-themed table visuals, new avatars and table interaction options, results from CoinPoker-linked players at the World Series in Las Vegas, and final figures from the completed World Poker Masters festival.
Battle of Malta Online Series to Feature $30M Guarantee
The Battle of Malta Online Series is scheduled to begin on July 12, with CoinPoker describing the $30,000,000 guarantee as its largest to date.
The series is expected to include Main Events, trophies for selected highlight events, and live Battle of Malta Autumn packages. Further details on buy-ins, package eligibility, and the complete event schedule were not included in the provided update.
One timing detail remains unclear. The update lists July 12 to August 13 in one section, while another section gives July 12 to August 3 and describes the festival as 23 days of tournament action. Until CoinPoker confirms the final schedule, the confirmed points are the July 12 start date and the $30,000,000 guarantee.
Soccer-Themed Tables and Avatars Added for Summer
CoinPoker is also adding soccer-themed elements to its app for the summer, including a limited-time grassy table design, new table interaction items, and country-inspired avatars.
Players can select the soccer-pitch table theme by right-clicking the table on PC or holding down on mobile. The new interaction options include soccer-themed effects such as a red card, a soccer ball, and a save-shot animation.
The update also says CoinPoker will distribute €60,000 in free bets through a leaderboard promotion during the soccer series. Detailed eligibility terms were not provided, so the offer should be understood as subject to the relevant promotion rules.
