PokerStars has launched Wildcard Wins, a weekly promotion that turns qualifying sports bets into leaderboard chances for poker prizes. Each week, players can compete for a share of $50,000 in prizes, including a $2.5K Silver Pass, $530 Bronze Passes, Sunday Million 20th Anniversary tickets, and more.
The promotion runs weekly from June 15 to July 19, 2026. Each leaderboard period starts at 00:00 BST on Monday and ends at 23:59 BST on Sunday, except for the opening week, which begins at 10:00 BST.
How Wildcard Wins Works
Eligible PokerStars customers must first opt in through the Challenges Window. Only one opt-in is required for the full promotion period.
After opting in, players can place qualifying sports bets using their cash balance. Each settled qualifying bet counts as one leaderboard attempt and receives a randomized score. The bet does not need to win to generate a score, which means losing bets can still count toward the weekly leaderboard.
Bets on any sport may qualify, and major football tournament markets are also included.
Scores start with a randomly assigned number from 1 to 1,000,000. PokerStars then applies odds, stake, currency, and result multipliers according to the official rules. Losing bets receive a 1.15 result multiplier. If a bet has decimal odds above 100.00, the odds multiplier is calculated as if the odds were 100.00.
Players can make unlimited attempts each week, but only their highest score from that weekly period is submitted to the leaderboard.
Entry Rules and Excluded Bets
Wildcard Wins is available to customers with an active and verified real-money PokerStars account. Customers with account restrictions during the promotion period may not be eligible.
Each qualifying bet must be placed with cash balance, have a minimum stake of $/C$/£/€0.50, and stay within the maximum odds limit of 100.00.
Free Bets, cashed-out bets, and void bets are excluded.
Weekly Prizes and Ranking
At the end of each weekly leaderboard, prizes are awarded by final ranking. The first-place finisher receives a $2.5K Silver Pass, while players ranked 2 to 10 receive a $530 Bronze Pass.
Players ranked 11 to 285 receive a $109 Sunday Million 20th Anniversary ticket. Ranks 286 to 1,285 receive an $11 Sunday Million 20th Anniversary satellite ticket, and ranks 1,286 to 2,500 receive two $0.75 Sunday Million 20th Anniversary satellite tickets.
If two or more players finish with the same score, the higher position goes to the player who reached that score first.
Prize Timing, Expiry, and Redemption
PokerStars says prizes will be paid out within 48 hours after each leaderboard ends.
Prizes for ranks 1 to 10 are credited inside a Chest. Unopened Chests expire seven days after being issued. Sunday Million 20th Anniversary tickets and satellite tickets expire seven days after being credited. Once expired, tickets hold no value and will not be compensated.
Bronze Power Passes and Silver Power Passes awarded through Wildcard Wins expire seven days after being won. A Bronze Power Pass can be used by registering for the relevant target tournament with the required buy-in. PokerStars may also, at its discretion, offer an equivalent online poker tournament ticket bundle instead.
A Silver Power Pass can be redeemed for either an online poker tournament ticket bundle or a live event package. Live event redemptions are subject to PokerStars Live Events terms. The live event package does not include any costs, taxes, fees, expenses, or arrangements not expressly specified by the PokerStars Live Events team.
Players can view leaderboard standings through the Leader Board Window on the web where available, through the app on smartphone or tablet, or via the downloadable client. Tournament tickets and expiry details can be checked under My Rewards by selecting Tournament Tickets.

Wildcard Wins gives eligible PokerStars players a weekly route from sports betting into poker prizes. With every settled qualifying cash-balance bet able to generate a leaderboard score, the promotion adds an extra layer of suspense to each week of sports action.
